By using PickMyVenue, you agree to these terms. We've tried to keep them short, plain and free of legalese. If anything is unclear, email support@pickmyvenue.in.

1. What PickMyVenue Is

PickMyVenue ("we", "us", "our") is a venue discovery and enquiry marketplace operated from India that connects event hosts ("you", "the customer") with banquet halls, farmhouses, hotels, resorts and event-service vendors ("partners"). We do not own the venues, employ the vendors, or directly provide the services listed. Your booking contract is always between you and the venue or vendor — we facilitate the introduction, share quotes and assist with coordination.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law to make a booking through PickMyVenue. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that the contact details you provide are accurate and belong to you.

3. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are subject to venue availability and final confirmation by the venue or vendor. Quoted prices are indicative until confirmed in writing by the partner. Payments — including any advance, security deposit and balance — are made directly to the venue or vendor. PickMyVenue never holds your money in escrow and never adds commissions, platform fees or markups on top of partner pricing for customers. Applicable GST and statutory taxes are charged by the partner as per Indian law.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms vary by venue and are governed by the partner's policy disclosed before you confirm a booking. As a general guideline: cancellations 30+ days before the event date typically qualify for the highest refund tier; 15–29 days a partial refund; under 15 days are usually non-refundable. Force-majeure events (government restrictions, natural disasters, communal unrest) are handled on a best-effort basis with the partner — we will mediate at no cost.

5. Honest Listings Promise

If a venue or vendor doesn't honour their listed price or description, report it within 7 days at support@pickmyvenue.in. We'll mediate at no cost and remove repeat offenders from the platform.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to: (a) submit false or misleading enquiries, (b) use the platform to harass partners or staff, (c) scrape, copy or republish listing data, images or content, (d) attempt to bypass PickMyVenue and contact partners off-platform to evade our support and dispute-resolution process during an active enquiry. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, page layouts, copy, photography curation and code on PickMyVenue are owned by us or our partners and protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

The platform is provided "as is". We do our best to verify partner information but cannot guarantee availability, pricing accuracy at all times, or the quality of services delivered by third-party venues and vendors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the platform shall not exceed ₹10,000 or the amount we have received from the relevant booking (if any), whichever is lower.

8a. Third-Party Content & Imagery

PickMyVenue operates strictly as a third-party discovery and enquiry facilitator. We do not own, operate, manage, staff or control any of the venues, vendors or services listed on the platform, and we are not accountable or liable for the quality, conduct, safety, hygiene, pricing, delivery, or any act or omission of any partner. Your booking and service contract is exclusively between you and the relevant venue or vendor.

All images, photographs, logos, brand names and creative material displayed on venue, vendor and service listing pages are sourced from venue partners, public marketing material, partner-supplied media, or other publicly available sources. We do not claim ownership of any third-party imagery or trademarks shown on listing pages and use them solely for identification and discovery purposes.

Takedown / removal requests: If you are a rights holder (or authorised representative) and believe that any image, logo, name or content on PickMyVenue has been used without appropriate permission, you may write to support@pickmyvenue.in with reasonable proof of ownership and the URL of the page in question. We will review and action verified requests within 7 business days.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PickMyVenue harmless from any claim, loss or expense arising from your misuse of the platform, your breach of these terms, or your direct dealings with a partner.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi. Where applicable, parties may first attempt good- faith resolution through mediation before initiating legal proceedings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
